Poster for Laughter in Summer by Beverly Glenn-Copeland, short-listed for the 2026 Polaris Music Prize.

on the print. Screened through a coarse mesh on purpose, so the typography never fully sets. Laughter in Summer is a record about memory and presence, and the letterforms are held the same way, not fixed, yet still here.

Pulled by hand in our Toronto studio, one screen and one pass at a time. The ink settles a little differently on every sheet, so no two prints are quite the same.

about the Polaris Music Prize

the Polaris Music Prize is awarded each year to the best Canadian album, judged on artistic merit alone — regardless of genre, sales or label. a jury of music journalists, broadcasters and programmers picks a short list of ten. this series is one poster for each of those ten, printed for the 2026 ceremony at Massey Hall on september 22.
